Board Butter

Have you ever used board butter or conditionaer?  I cant say that I really knew what it was before I started making boards myself.  Bailey's Board Conditioning Butter is a blend of food grade mineral oil and beeswax that will rejuvinate and protect your dull or dry cutting boards.  When your board looks dull or dry simply clean it well and apply the Bailey's Board Conditioning Butter from the tin.  Apply enough to easily cover the surface, use a clean cloth (I like to apply it with my bare hands, it helps after a long day of sanding to moisturize my battered fingers too!). Let it sit for several hours or over night.  Wipe off any excess and buff to a shine with a clean cloth.  Let it dry for 2-4 more hours and your board is ready to go back to work in your kitchen!
